Eligibility

Eligible Individuals (any one of two):

1. An individual with paid work experience as a part-time or full-time employee and a minimum of 1,560 hours in the last 5 years (or worked 1,560 hours last year). Worked hours are counted inside or outside Canada. If in Canada, you must have legally worked as a Temporary Resident or International Student.
   • Past work area:
     • Restaurant Managers (NOC 0 – management job)
     • Professional, e.g., Architects, Dentists, Doctors (NOC A – professional jobs)
     • Chefs, Electricians, Plumbers (NOC B – technical & skilled jobs)
     • Food & Beverage Servers (NOC C – intermediate jobs with High school/job-specific training)
     • Industrial Butchers (NOC C – intermediate jobs with High school/job-specific training)

2. International Graduates
   1. Don’t need to have Work Experience if graduated in a 2-year Post-secondary program from New Brunswick or Nova Scotia or PEI or Newfoundland & Labrador, AND
   2. Was a full-time student during the entire study period, AND
   3. Lived in New Brunswick or Nova Scotia or PEI or Newfoundland & Labrador for 16 months during the last 2 years before graduation
   4. Had study permit or work permit with visa

Education (any one of two):

1. For internationally educated persons with academic equivalency (through Education Credential Assessment made in less than 5 years old) to Canadian 1-year-post secondary or higher
   • Currently possess a Job Offer at NOC 0 or NOC A
2. For internationally educated persons with academic equivalency (through Education Credential Assessment made in less than 5 years old) to Canadian High School Diploma
   • Currently possess a Job Offer at NOC B or NOC C
