Atlantic Immigration Program

A permanent, employer-driven pathway to permanent residence in Atlantic Canada for skilled workers and international graduates with a job offer from a designated employer.

The Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) is a permanent, employer-driven pathway to permanent residence for skilled workers and international graduates who want to settle in one of Canada's four Atlantic provinces — Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador. It became a permanent program in 2022, replacing the earlier Atlantic Immigration Pilot.

Who it's for

To qualify you generally need a job offer from an employer that has been designated under the program, a provincial endorsement, qualifying work experience or a recognised credential, and a settlement plan for you and your family. International graduates from a recognised Atlantic institution may be eligible without the usual work-experience requirement.

How Bhoj Law Office helps

We confirm whether you and your job offer meet the current AIP requirements, prepare your endorsement and permanent residence applications, and help you and your employer keep the process moving. Because allocations and requirements are reviewed regularly, we check the current rules before you apply.
